CSA is looking for a Logstics Technician to support a program onsite at Grafenwoehr, Germany.
The Logistics Technician is responsible for the advanced management, optimization, and maintenance of U.S. Army logistics systems. This role requires a deep technical understanding of systems including Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army), Joint Deployment Logistics Model (JDLM), Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Wasp and extensive technical experience maintaining Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS). Additionally, the Logistics Technician must possess a robust background in logistics systems management, advanced system configuration/maintenance/testing, data analysis/reporting, process improvement, and collaboration / technical communication. Additionally, the Logistics Technician coordinates communication network access and computer system set-up, test, and analysis; maintains accountability of assigned property and coordinates resolution of technical, functional and user problems; and applies AR 735-5 AR 710-4 procedures for receipt, issue, and tracking of training systems.

How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

Participate in all phases of the Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) in support joint exercises planning.

Set-up facilities and conduct quality assurance checks to support military trainings.
-
Maintain facility and equipment schedules.
-
Prepare periodic facility and equipment reports.
-
Issue/Receive facilities and equipment.
-
Conduct periodic property inventories in accordance with AR 735-5 and AR 710-4.
-
Coordinate and conduct maintenance and testing of logistics and mission command systems.
-
Maintain accurate site profiles(s) & record keeping system(s) of equipment inventory.
-
Ensure the implementation and enforcement of physical security and OPSEC procedures.

Package equipment for shipment by the Government.
-
Identify equipment deficiencies.
-
Coordinate equipment refreshes with the Federation Managers and Lifecycle replacement programs.
-
Execute the disposition of excess and unserviceable property.
-
Travel to site locations to conduct periodic inventories and inspections.

Support the preparation, execution, pre-exercise setup and post-exercise recovery and reset of all facilities, workstations, work areas, TOC Pads, and training areas back to their original configurations.

A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent related experience OR an associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent related experience OR a major certification (per DOD 8140 and recognized by DOCPER) plus 7 years of recent related experience OR 11 years of recent related experience.

What Sets You Apart:

Experience in property accountability and customer service support.

Good working knowledge/ experience of Micro Soft Office 2000 Professional or later versions.

Familiarity with Battalion and higher military command posts exercises.

Knowledge of AR 735-5 procedures and use of Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced.

Experience with military logistics or defense-related logistics operations.

Advanced knowledge of logistics information systems (LIS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CPIM).

Deep understanding of Army policies, procedures, and regulations related to logistics and property management.

Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and logistics software/tools.
