What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Financial Accountant (Accounts Payable) within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, supporting statutory closing activities, ensuring accurate supplier accounting, and maintaining compliant financial records. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and regularly collaborate with the Finance, Procurement, Tax, and External Audit teams.

Role Responsibilities

Managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process for assigned entities

Leading statutory closing activities and validating vendor financial data

Processing and allocating supplier payments accurately and on time

Reconciling vendor accounts and resolving payment discrepancies

Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities

Interacting with external auditors and supporting audit-related requests

Maintaining accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards

Supporting VAT and indirect tax compliance activities where applicable

Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the Accounts Payable function

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations
Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Financial Accounting

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Experience managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes

Strong accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detail

Fluency in English (minimum B2 level); German is an advantage

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, or Business Central is highly desirable

Understanding of indirect taxation (VAT) is a strong asset

High level of accuracy and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset

Experience working with other ERP systems is also welcome

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is €50 100 – € 55 000gross per year. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications. Corpay maintains structured compensation practices and regularly reviews pay to support compliance with equal pay principles and applicable EU legislation. Additional compensation elements, including benefits and variable pay (if applicable), will be discussed during the recruitment process.
