Junior HR Business Partner
Position Summary
The Junior HR Business Partner acts as a trusted HR partner for managers and employees across DACH and Central European countries. The role supports the execution of people strategies aligned with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and compliance across a diverse and international workforce.
Working closely with business leaders and the wider HR team, the Junior HRBP combines operational excellence with growing strategic HR capabilities, providing hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to business growth and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership

Partner with managers and employees across DACH and Central Europe on a broad range of HR topics.

Provide guidance on HR policies, workforce matters, organizational effectiveness, and employee development.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders in a multicultural and matrix organization.
Works Council & Employee Representative Collaboration

Build and maintain constructive relationships with Works Councils and employee representatives, particularly within Germany.

Support and participate in consultations and negotiations with Works Councils on organizational, operational, and people-related matters.

Prepare HR-related documentation, presentations, and communication materials for Works Council meetings and consultations.

Partner with business leaders and legal stakeholders to ensure compliance with co-determination requirements and applicable labor legislation.

Contribute to fostering positive labor relations and effective social partnership practices.
Manufacturing HR Partnership

Act as HR partner for manufacturing and operational functions, supporting workforce challenges within a production environment.

Collaborate closely with plant leadership and operational managers on workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Support initiatives to improve retention, attendance, employee engagement, and workforce productivity.

Provide HR guidance on shift-based operations, organizational changes, and labor-related topics within manufacturing environments.

Partner with site leadership to support operational excellence and people-related priorities within production facilities.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning

Support and drive annual talent management processes, including performance management, succession planning, and talent reviews.

Partner with managers to identify development opportunities and build organizational capability.

Contribute to workforce planning and talent pipeline discussions.
Change Management & Organizational Development

Support organizational transformation, restructuring, and change initiatives across the region.

Facilitate communication and employee engagement activities during periods of change.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

Ensure efficient execution of key HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with AskHR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams.

Support hiring, onboarding, promotions, transfers, organizational changes, and separation processes.

Drive continuous process improvements and operational excellence.
Employee Engagement & Culture

Support regional employee engagement initiatives and action plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field.

More than 4 years of professional HR experience, ideally as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, Junior HR Business Partner, or HR Business Partner within an international environment.

Strong understanding of labor law and employee relations practices, ideally in Germany.

Experience working with Works Councils or employee representatives

Experience in manufacturing and international environments

Fluent in German, English and Polish are required.
