As a PHP developer at Icinga, you'll continue to develop our Icinga Web Framework and existing Icinga modules, always keeping our community and customers in mind. - (Further) Development of Frameworks and Existing Icinga Modules
- Planning, Design, and Implementation of New Features
- Active Participation in the Further Development of Icinga
- Exploring different technologies to identify innovative ways to integrate them into existing software
- Sharing knowledge and experience to continuously improve the team's technical skills
- Close collaboration with the Development, UI/UX, Product Management, and Community teams
- Working independently and in a results-oriented manner within the framework of sprints
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, comparable training with relevant experience, or a comparable level of knowledge
- Relevant professional experience in software development with PHP
- Proficiency in database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience in implementing UI/UX requirements and professional proficiency with HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors
- Proficiency with an IDE of your choice, as well as GitHub and GitLab
- Proficiency in Linux
- Optional experience in the following areas:
- Collaboration on an open source project
- Experience with Icinga products
- Experience or interest in learning the Go programming language
