Program Manager in the Pearl700 Program Office (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the on-time delivery of modifications for Pearl700 including Nacelle parts.
- Integrating a multi-party team consisting of specialists from the Airframer, the 1st tier and sub-tier Suppliers and Rolls-Royce.
- Working closely with and integrating other Rolls-Royce teams like Commercial, Services, Engineering, Validation and the Supplier Management Team.
- Program manage technical deliveries or investigations by installing adequate program governance, IMS and monitoring tools to ensure on-time delivery and mitigating commercial risks.
- Project progress reporting at internal reviews as well as directly to the Customer during program status meetings and reviews.
- Initiating and driving timely interventions or escalations when issues arise that require fast resolution.
- Representing the Pearl700 program team and defending their targets in respect to profit & loss on all initiatives in front of the Customer and Suppliers.
- Responsible for planning, delegation and monitoring of all aspects of the project to achieve the performance targets in terms of time, cost, scope and quality
- Establishing, developing and maintaining the documentation necessary to deliver the work packages within the project
- Providing necessary information to key stakeholders to enable management decisions
Qualifications / Experience
- Several years experience in complex project management
- Experience of working with, integrating and managing multi-functional teams
- Very good communication, presentation and leadership skills as well as the ability to work in a team
- Showing high level of resilience and able to work under pressure
- Technical understanding of the Turbomachinery and Nacelles and related key processes like APQP, PILM, podding, engine build, quality would be advantageous
- Experience with project management methods and tools (e.g. Primavera P6, risk databases). SAP knowledge preferred
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach. Solid business acumen, commercial savviness and finance understanding
- Excellent English is key. Good German and French would be advantageous. Willingness to travel
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to present in front of senior management.
- Strong Customer and delivery focus and drive.
- Being able to communicate/illustrate complex problems and solutions to the wider team
- Carrying out the tasks with a high level of diligence and responsibility
