Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Rigid Truck Driver / GO to join our project team in Dresden.
The Rigid Truck Driver / General Operative supports M&E engineering operations by safely transporting materials and equipment to sites using a company vehicle. The role also involves assisting with general construction site and workshop activities to ensure projects run efficiently and safely.
Safely operate a company rigid truck (Category C) transporting M&E materials, tools, plant, and equipment to and from construction sites, suppliers, and depots
Carry out local and regional driving in accordance with German road traffic laws and EU driver regulations
Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures
Secure loads correctly and ensure compliance with load restraint and weight regulations
Maintain delivery documentation, tachograph records, and basic transport paperwork
Load and unload materials manually or using mechanical aids
Assist mechanical and electrical teams with general site support duties
Distribute materials, pipework, containment, and equipment on active construction sites
Support general site activities including setup, housekeeping, and material handling
Follow site-specific health, safety, and environmental procedures always
Assist with general workshop activities including material preparation, organisation, and cleaning
Support prefabrication and preparation work where required
Ensure tools and equipment are handled, stored, and returned correctly
Maintain a tidy, safe working environment in vehicles, workshops, and on site
Represent the company professionally when attending client sites
