Here’s what you’ll do:
Ardo serves its clients in the Retail, Food Service, and Industry segments. To support our global activities and colleagues our international IT Infrastructure team offers a 24/7 high quality service.
We are looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to help provide second-line and on-site technical support across the company, including factories and offices.
In this role you are part of an international team of 12, reporting to the Group IT Infrastructure Manager, and operating from our Headquarters.
Your role in the team:
You resolve incident and change request tickets, using your experience and broadening your expertise by collaborating with your team members.
You identify, analyze, and resolve IT issues, ensuring clear documentation and accurate records of all actions.
You communicate effectively and maintain close contact with internal and external parties involved.
You analyze recurring incidents and share insights for improvement.
You propose and implement improvements and innovations, collaborating with colleagues on optimizations (e.g., creating scripts, upgrading software/hardware).
You collaborate with expert colleagues to solve complex issues and to continuously expand your knowledge.
You manage resources effectively to enhance the user experience.
You contribute to and take the lead in operational and project assignments related to setting up, expanding, and improving our IT services.
This is where you recognize yourself:
You have a broad IT knowledge based on (own) study and/or experience both in hardware and software as well as in networking. Thus, you are familiar with:
Microsoft operating systems, back office, and application software;
Collaboration tools (Office 365, Teams…);
Management software (Active Directory, SCCM, O365, SOTI MobiControl);
Office and factory devices (Forklift terminals, Handheld scanners, (Label)printers).
You have 1 - 3 years experience in a similar job.
You preferably have experience with a service desk methodology like ITIL.
You have strong communication skills in English and in Dutch (min. C1 level). You can manage in French.
You are willing to rotate in a stand-by duty and occasionally travel to nearby sites.
You are a skilled problem-solver with a focus on fast, effective solutions.
You work accurately, delivering high-quality service.
You have strong organizational, time management and priority-setting abilities.
Above all, you are stress-resistant and self-reliant with a customer-first mindset and a high team spirit.
