We're a fast-growing, post-seed AI SaaS company bringing modern sales intelligence to the wholesale distribution industry — a large, underserved market ripe for transformation. Based in Berlin, Germany, our small but high-calibre GTM team is looking for a hands-on Business Development Representative who wants to own their pipeline, shape how we go to market, and grow alongside a company at an exciting early stage.
This is a rare opportunity to get genuine ownership from day one: you'll help define messaging, iterate on outbound strategy, and directly influence how we build our sales motion — not just execute a fixed playbook.
Own the prospecting pipeline end-to-end — from outreach through to closing — via phone, email, and social media with wholesale decision-makers.
Test and optimise outbound and inbound lead generation, iterating quickly and cutting what doesn't work.
Become the resident expert on our product, the wholesale market, and customer needs — persuading rather than pitching.
Independently research B2B prospects and build compelling sales materials and presentations.
Write and refine call scripts and communication templates; share learnings through internal training sessions.
Work AI-native: identify and adopt AI tools to move faster and experiment with new approaches.
Take early ownership in shaping messaging, GTM strategy, and customer-facing processes.
Required:
Professional proficiency in both German and English (written and verbal) — this is essential.
Genuine motivation to build from scratch and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
Comfort with outreach channels: phone, email, and social.
Strong customer-facing skills — you enjoy talking to people, can persuade, and are reliable.
Tech-savvy mindset and/or genuine interest in the industrial/wholesale sector.
Ability to research customers independently and craft compelling sales materials.
Goal-oriented, resilient, and positive in the face of challenges.
Eligible to work in Germany without visa sponsorship (visa sponsorship is not available).
Nice to Have:
Experience in B2B SaaS sales or outbound prospecting (cold outreach).
Proven ability to thrive in a startup or early-stage environment with fast-paced selling cycles.
Familiarity with the wholesale distribution industry.
This role is based in Berlin, Germany. You'll be working on-site/hybrid with our Berlin-based team.
