Job Mission:
You will support the Data Platform Analytics team at Kia Connect in managing and improving data platforms and analytics solutions across Connected Car, Customer Data, and Mobility Data.
You will gain hands-on experience working with data and contribute to projects that support the digital and connected-car business across Europe.
For your internship at Kia Connect you need to be enrolled at the University (within European Union) during the whole internship period. Furthermore you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us (with possibility to prolong to 12 months), as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Connect and familiarize yourself with your topic.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be part of our European Connected Car - Data Platforms Analytics Team.
You will research automotive trends, study customer behaviors and help us to pinpoint our products towards the needs of our future customers
You will not get bored: You will work with all latest tools and technology to uncover insights from data and translate them into recommendations that optimizes Kia’s business activities
Support various teams and markets with the analytics set-up to monitor, benchmark and predict performance
Contribute to improving data processes through automation and process optimization.
Support external stakeholders during onboarding, integration, testing, and operational activities related to Kia Connect data products and services.
Assist in monitoring data quality, data availability, and service performance for connected vehicle data platforms.
Your Profile:
Strong interest in connected vehicles, mobility services, and automotive technology.
Knowledge of data analysis and data management concepts.
Experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of APIs, data integration, and AWS cloud-based data platforms.
Understanding of data lifecycle management, data quality monitoring, and technical documentation practices.
Knowledge in Data Engineering (Spark/SQL): Understanding of different data visualizations tools for i.e., AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, Foundry by Palantir etc.
Knowledge of coding languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g., AngularJS, Git)
Knowledge in areas of Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud-Architecture (i.e., AWS, Azure, Impact/Foundry)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, JIRA is a plus
Knowledge about Salesforce tools is a plus
Fluent in English (written and spoken), additional European languages are a plus
