ROLE OVERVIEW
As Project Finance Manager / Sr. PF Analyst, you will support the financing and financial assessment of ILOS’s renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on solar PV and BESS opportunities across Europe.
You will work closely with internal teams across finance, development, commercial, legal and M&A as well as with external stakeholders supporting the structuring of project financing transactions as well as bond facilities and other related financings.
The role is suited to someone with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant project finance experience who is looking to develop further within a dynamic renewable energy platform.

TASKS
- Support the preparation, development, and maintenance of complex macro based financial models for solar PV and BESS projects.
- Assist with project finance processes, including lender inputs, financing materials, due diligence coordination, and financial close support.
- Prepare financial analyses, sensitivities, and scenario modelling to support investment decisions and project structuring.
- Review key financial assumptions relating to revenue, capex, opex, financing terms, and project returns.
- Support the preparation of internal approval materials, presentations, and investment committee papers.
- Investment/project finance analysis.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across development, legal, tax, technical, and commercial teams to ensure models and analyses reflect current project assumptions.
- Assist with debt sizing, covenant analysis, and funding structure reviews.
- Support ongoing portfolio and refinancing analysis where required.
- Help manage data requests and interactions with lenders, investors, advisors, and other external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of modelling standards, templates, and financial analysis tools.
- Work closely with the asset management team to monitor portfolio performance and support ongoing value creation initiatives.
- Coordination of lender due diligence processes and creating and managing VDRs and Q&A processes.
- Loan admin/portfolio management, including reporting and monitoring of covenant compliance.
PROFILE
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Min. of 3-4 years of experience in project finance, financial modelling, investment analysis, corporate finance, or a similar field, preferably in the renewables / project finance department of an international bank, a financial adviser or with an IPP / developer.
- Experience in a renewable energy, infrastructure, advisory, banking, or project finance environment.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with good analytical and numerical capability.
- Advanced proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of project finance principles, debt structures, and investment analysis financial analysis metrics such as yield, IRR, and NPV.
- Comfortable working with financial assumptions, sensitivities, and structured analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to handling multiple workstreams.
- Able to work effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong positive attitude towards work and achieving goals
- Ability to work in tight deadline with minimal supervision
- Proactive, with excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with business leaders, investors, financial institutions, and the investment community.
- Team-orientated, enthusiastic, and committed to contributing to our collective goals.
- Familiarity with coding tools and the ability to leverage AI solutions to streamline workflows and automate processes is an advantage.
- Motivated to develop within a growing renewable energy platform.
- Fluent English with superior writing skills is essential; Italian and/or German would be a plus.
