Due to our continued growth, we are actively seeking a seasoned Treasury Technology professional to help expand our ION Treasury practice in Frankfurt and the wider DACH region. For highly specialized experts we would also consider residents of other EU countries.
Your Role
As a Consultant within our Treasury Technology Practice, you will play a key role in expanding Zanders' ION Treasury capabilities across Germany and the wider DACH region. Your primary focus will be the development, acquisition and delivery of projects related to ITS, Reval and Wallstreet Suite (WSS) implementations, upgrades, transformations and support engagements.
You will combine business development, client advisory and project delivery responsibilities to strengthen Zanders' market position as the leading independent treasury technology consultancy in the region.
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving the growth of Zanders' ION Treasury practice across Germany and the wider DACH market, with a particular focus on ION Treasury solution opportunities.
Building and maintaining relationships with corporate treasury teams, CFO organizations and treasury technology decision-makers.
Introducing Zanders' Treasury Technology capabilities to multinational corporations and financial institutions.
Leading treasury technology selection, assessment, implementation, upgrade and optimisation projects with a focus on ION Treasury solutions.
Advising clients on treasury operating models, system architecture, treasury process design, bank connectivity, payments, cash management, liquidity planning, risk management and reporting.
Managing end-to-end implementation projects including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration oversight, testing, migration, integration, training and post-go-live support.
Supporting treasury transformation initiatives involving Treasury Management Systems, payment infrastructures, SWIFT connectivity, EBICS, ISO 20022 and related treasury technologies.
Designing future-state treasury technology landscapes and implementation roadmaps.
Collaborating closely with Zanders' global Treasury Technology teams and Centres of Excellence.
Researching market developments and emerging trends in Treasury Technology, digital transformation, automation and AI.
Representing Zanders at industry events, conferences and client roundtables while contributing to thought leadership initiatives.
Managing, coaching and developing consultants within the Treasury Technology practice.
Skills to be Successful
Proven track record in selling and delivering treasury consulting and treasury technology implementation services.
Strong network within Corporate Treasury, Finance or Treasury Technology communities in Germany and the wider DACH region.
Extensive experience in Treasury Technology consulting, Treasury Management Systems or Corporate Treasury.
Demonstrated success leading complex ION ITS, Reval and/or Wallstreet Suite implementation projects from strategy through go-live and stabilisation.
Deep understanding of treasury processes, including:
Cash & Liquidity Management
Cash Forecasting
Payments & Bank Connectivity
In-House Banking
Financial Risk Management
Treasury Accounting
Treasury Reporting
Strong expertise in ION ITS, Reval and/or Wallstreet Suite, ideally complemented by experience with IT2, or other treasury technology platforms.
Experience with treasury technology integrations, SWIFT, EBICS, API connectivity, ERP integrations and ISO 20022 payment architectures.
Ability to manage senior stakeholders and executive-level client relationships.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to help grow and shape a leading Treasury Technology practice.
Strong people leadership skills and experience managing consulting teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Self-reliant, energetic, proactive, innovative and collaborative team player.
Willingness to travel within Germany, the DACH region and internationally when required.
Experience working with globally distributed teams.
Fluent in German and English.
Legally authorized to work in DACH region.
