Responsibilities include:
Evolve and expand the capacity models for our fab
Own the accuracy of our capacity models – monitor data integrity and align regularly with tool owners to keep model inputs current
Determine the starts and mixes we can support, now and in the look-ahead, based on capacity constraints, tool performance and upcoming process releases
Build and maintain dashboards that make capacity, constraints and tool performance transparent to operations and management
Automate recurring analyses, from data extraction to visualization
Identify opportunities to improve cycle time and strengthen our models as a basis for operational decisions
Support tool owners, engineering and planning in assessing the capacity and cost impact of process changes
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
Working knowledge of Python for data preparation, analysis and automation
First experience turning large data sets into clear visualizations and reports for different audiences
Good German language skills (min. B2) and business-fluent English
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing a smock
Enjoys working with different functions – from engineering through manufacturing to planning
Preferred qualifications:
First exposure to capacity modeling, semiconductor manufacturing or a production environment
SQL for querying manufacturing databases
Interest in working with AI-supported tool .e.g. for code generation, data analysis or preparing evaluations
Experience with a BI tool (e.g. Spotfire)
Strong stakeholder skills – building relationships across functions
Quick to ramp on new systems and processes
