Analog Electronics Design Engineer (f/m/d)
As part of the Electronic Systems department at OHB, you will be responsible for the design and testing of advanced electronic units for satellite applications. Our electronics process high-resolution image data and sensor signals, control high-precision motors, actively reduce mechanical vibrations, and support a wide range of demanding space missions. Your Tasks
- Design electronic circuits for multi-channel, high-resolution, and high-speed analog signal acquisition chains for optoelectronic detectors, vibration, temperature, and position sensors

Develop precision analog electronics with demanding short-term and long-term stability as well as signal-to-noise requirements

Verify circuit performance through simulation, including worst-case analysis, part stress analysis, and signal integrity analysis

Specify and supervise PCB layout activities for multilayer and rigid-flex high-reliability PCBs

Test and validate your circuits in the laboratory as well as under extreme conditions during qualification and acceptance testing

Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical design, radiation engineering, EEE engineering, manufacturing, and FPGA design
Your Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a comparable discipline

At least 5 years of professional experience in the design and verification of high-performance mixed-signal electronics, ideally in the space industry

Profound theoretical and practical background in the design and analysis of analog electronics, e.g. amplifiers, filters, and ADCs

Experience in electronics design in accordance with applicable ECSS standards

Experience with at least one programming language suitable for circuit simulation and automated test setups, such as MATLAB, Python, or C/C++

Experience with ECAD design and simulation tools, such as PADS Professional, Xpedition, Spice, or HyperLynx

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
