Wir suchen einen Teamleiter in der Konfektionierung, um unsere Produktion in unserer Klebstoffsparte bei UHU in Bühl dauerhaft zu verstärken.
Wie du dich einbringen kannst:
In dieser Aufgabe übernimmst du die Führung und operative und strategische Steuerung in der zugewiesenen Schicht des Bereichs Konfektionierung (Abfüllung und Verpackung). Dazu gehört die Produktionsüberwachung, die Sicherstellung der Verfügbarkeit der Ressourcen und die Einhaltung von Regularien und Vorgaben.
So sehen deine Hauptaufgaben aus:
- Eigenständige fachliche und disziplinarische Führung des Bereichs, der Schichtführer (Team Operator) sowie Weiterentwicklung aller zugeordneten Arbeitnehmenden
- Durchführung von Mitarbeitergesprächen aller Art und Feedback und Präsenz auf der Produktionsfläche sowie Kommunikation, klare Zielvorgaben und Durchführung von Performance Management sowie Coaching der Team Operator
- Steuerung des Produktionsplans in der Schicht unter Berücksichtigung vielseitiger Kundenanforderungen
- Compliant Setup von Prozessen und Organisation
- Aufbau von Stellvertretungsstrukturen und Risikomanagement sowie proaktive Identifikation und Umsetzung von ständigen Verbesserungsprojekten (Kosten, Zeit, Technik, Personal)
- Gesamtverantwortung für eine Schicht der Konfektionierung und den zugehörigen, vielseitigen Abfüllbereichen und proaktive Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen sowie Sicherstellung von Vorgaben und Kennzahlen
- Überwachung und Steuerung einer effizienten Produktion (Personaleffizienz, Maschineneffizienz und Factory Delivery Performance), Analyse von Abweichung und proaktive Einleitung von Korrekturmaßnahmen und Sicherstellung der Nachhaltigkeit in Zusammenarbeit mit den Team Operator und des Teams
- Sicherstellen der Anlagenverfügbarkeit in allen Bereichen sowie Sicherstellung von Arbeitssicherheit, Ordnung, Sauberkeit, Qualität und Umweltschutz
- Erstellen von Berichten, Auswertungen und Reports sowie Verwaltung des Abteilungsbudgets
Dein Team:
Du führst ein großes Schichtteam bestehend aus Team Operator mit Führungsverantwortung, Maschinen- und Anlagenführern, Maschineneinrichtern, Maschinenbedienern und Arbeitnehmende des internen Transports. Du arbeitest Hand in Hand mit dem Teamleiter der Gegenschicht zusammen und berichtest an den Site Director.
Was dich zu einer idealen Besetzung macht:
- B.Sc. in den Bereichen Maschinenbau, Chemie, Verfahrenstechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder vergleichbar oder erfolgreich abgeschlossene Meisterweiterbildung
- Mehrjährige Führungserfahrung großer Teams, Erfahrung im situativen Führen und Coaching sowie Performance Management und Gesundheitsmanagement
- Idealerweise Maschinen-, Material- und Prozesskenntnisse im Bereich der chemischen Abfüllung sowie gute Kenntnisse in der Arbeitssicherheit, Abfallmanagement
- Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Projekten im Produktionsumfeld und idealerweise nachgewiesene Projektmanagement-Grundkenntnisse sowie Prozesskenntnisse (Operational Excellence/Six Sigma)
- Gute Kenntnisse in MS Office sowie SAP
- Organisationsgeschick, kosten- und sicherheitsorientierte sowie eine strukturierte, verantwortungsbewusste und selbstständige Arbeitsweise verbunden mit unternehmerischem Denken und Handeln
- Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Durchsetzungsfähigkeit und diplomatisches Geschick verbunden mit hoher Teamfähigkeit, Verbindlichkeit, Authentizität und Empathie
- Bereitschaft für Schichtarbeit (derzeit 2-Schicht)
- Gute englische Sprachkenntnisse von Vorteil

We are looking for a Team Leader in the filling department to provide long-term support for our production in the adhesives division at UHU in Bühl.
How you make the difference:
In this role, you will take charge of the leadership and operational and strategic management of your assigned shift within the filling department (filling and packing). This includes monitoring production, ensuring the availability of resources, and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
How your agenda looks like:
- Independent technical and disciplinary leadership of the department, the shift supervisors (Team Operators) and the professional development of all assigned staff
- Conducting all types of staff appraisals and providing feedback; maintaining a presence on the production floor; communicating clearly; setting clear targets; implementing performance management; and coaching the Team Operators
- Managing the production plan during the shift, taking into account diverse customer requirements
- Ensuring processes and organisational structures comply with regulations
- Establishing deputising arrangements and risk management, as well as proactively identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects (costs, time, technology, personnel)
- Overall responsibility for one shift of filling and the associated, diverse filling areas; proactive collaboration with other departments; and ensuring targets and key performance indicators are met
- Monitoring and managing efficient production (staff efficiency, machine efficiency and factory delivery performance), analysing deviations and proactively initiating corrective measures, and ensuring sustainability in collaboration with the team operators and the team
- Ensuring line availability across all areas, as well as ensuring health and safety, order, cleanliness, quality and environmental protection
- Preparing reports and analyses, and managing the departmental budget
Your team:
You will lead a large shift team comprising team operators with managerial responsibilities, machine and plant operators, machine fitters, machine operators and internal transport staff. You will work closely with the team leader of the opposite shift and report to the Site Director.
What makes you a great fit:
- A BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable degree, or a successfully completed master craftsman’s qualification
- Several years’ experience leading large teams, experience in situational leadership and coaching, as well as performance management and health and safety management
- Ideally, knowledge of machinery, materials and processes in the field of chemical filling, as well as a good understanding of health and safety and waste management
- Experience in delivering projects in a production environment and, ideally, proven basic project management skills as well as process knowledge (Operational Excellence/Six Sigma)
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Organisational skills, a cost- and safety-oriented approach, and a structured, responsible and independent way of working, combined with entrepreneurial thinking and action
- Good communication skills, assertiveness and diplomatic skills, combined with strong teamwork skills, reliability, authenticity and empathy
- Willingness to work shifts (currently a two-shift system)
- Good command of English would be an advantage
