The Plant Engineering division has been one of the leading inspection and certification organizations for industrial facilities for around 20 years. These facilities include, for example, installations in the process industry, chemical industry, gas and energy sector, renewable energy, utilities and waste management, food industry, and medical technology. Our work focuses in particular on the inspection of pressure equipment, water-polluting substances, hazardous areas and installations, transport containers for hazardous substances and dangerous goods, as well as welding and joining technologies.
Tasks
You support our international customers in the fields of container certification and steel structures, analyze their requirements, and develop tailored technical proposals
You oversee welding-related projects, assess manufacturing processes, and serve as a competent point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders
You represent our company in national and international technical committees, actively contribute to the development of industry standards, and transfer this knowledge directly into our processes
You travel to international customers, partners, and industry association meetings to advance projects on site
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline
Knowledge of the CSC Convention (International Convention for Safe Containers)
Solid knowledge and practical experience in welding technology (additional qualification as an International Welding Engineer (IWE) or equivalent is advantageous)
Initial experience or strong interest in technical sales and working with international customers
Strong interest in standardization, standards development processes, and long-term involvement in industry associations
Fluent English language skills
Willingness to travel extensively, including internationally
