Your tasks
In this exciting position we are looking for an experienced business intelligence and data analyst with the following key responsibilities:
- Create automated visual dashboards in Power BI required from CBS business teams and build data visualization reports and tools for self-service consumption of data
- Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights
- Resolve data / reporting issues through configuration, data cleansing, de-duplication, consolidation and rationalisation of reporting requirements where appropriate
- Translate business requirements from business users into design specifications and data modelling
- Build and maintain Semantic and data models
- Build & maintain relationships with business functions/IT/countries and consultants.
- Partner with business teams/stakeholders to improve data assets, quality, metrics and insights.
- Support the business intelligence strategy and monitor stakeholders’/countries’ effort to fall in line with the overall strategy
- Support collecting reporting requirements and organize BI trainings with CBS countries and business functions
Our requirements
- University degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics or business, logistics with focus on analytics or relevant work experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, dashboard development, and data visualization including DAX and Power Query.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and reporting architectures.
- Knowledge of Tabular Editor, SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes is a plus.
- Experience with Databricks and modern cloud-based data platforms is a plus
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working and enthusiasm for cooperation within a dynamic team
- Passion for data, analytics, and continuous learning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of logical thinking.
- Very good communication skills as well as commitment and resilience
- Intercultural competence, e.g. through a longer stay abroad in previous professional positions, during studies or through relevant work experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Fluent English language skills. Any European language is a plus
