Manage complex corporate and investor credit exposures involving distressed, non-performing, or high-risk loans.
Develop and implement restructuring, recovery, and debt repayment strategies from both commercial and legal perspectives.
Lead negotiations with borrowers and stakeholders regarding restructuring, workout, and repayment solutions.
Represent the bank in banking syndicates, creditors' committees, insolvency proceedings, and enforcement actions.
Review and assess collateral portfolios, claims, and risk provisions, ensuring effective realization of securities.
Support reporting, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the credit risk management function.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on complex credit workout cases.
* EXPERIENCE
Completed banking education, a comparable qualification, or foundational legal studies.
Proven experience managing distressed loans, restructurings, recoveries, and insolvency cases.
Strong knowledge of banking regulations, credit risk management, and relevant legal frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, process-oriented mindset.
Strong negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
High level of accountability, resilience, and professional integrity.
* MANDATORY
Minimum 5 years of experience in distressed loan management, debt recovery, restructuring, or insolvency cases.
Previous experience within a bank or financial institution.
Banking, finance, economics, or legal education/background.
Strong knowledge of credit risk management, banking regulations, and relevant legal frameworks.
Experience managing corporate/commercial loan portfolios.
Proven ability to negotiate restructuring and debt recovery agreements with multiple stakeholders.
