IOP Talent Network – Your Path from University to Industry
Are you an international Master's or Diploma student in STEM, Business or Digitalization, or have you recently graduated and are ready to start your professional career?
GWT – Society for Knowledge and Technology Transfer has been the business and transfer partner of TU Dresden, one of Germany's Universities of Excellence, for more than 30 years. Through the International Onboarding Program (IOP), GWT supports international students and early-career professionals in their transition into the regional labour market, helping to address the demand for skilled professionals in Saxony.
What is the IOP Talent Network?
The IOP Talent Network is a career development and networking program for international talent in STEM, Business and Digitalization – not a traditional job advertisement.
Its goal is to prepare participants for a successful career in Germany and connect them with companies from our partner network.
To achieve this, we are building a selected talent pool. Matching with partner companies takes place step by step and is based on qualifications, interests and companies' recruitment needs.
What You Can Expect
The IOP prepares you for applications, job interviews and your transition into professional life in Germany.
The program includes:
- Application and interview training
- Intercultural training for the workplace
- German language courses and language development
- Matching with partner companies for career opportunities
- Networking and information events with partners from industry and academia
Who Can Apply?
The program is aimed at international students and graduates who would like to build their professional future in Saxony.
We are looking for candidates who:
- are pursuing or have completed a Master's or Diploma degree in STEM, Business or Digitalization
- are motivated to start their professional career
- are willing to further develop their professional, language and personal skills
How Does the Application Process Work?
As part of the selection process, applicants complete a short online assessment. It complements your application documents and helps us gain a better understanding of your profile, strengths and career orientation.
The subsequent matching process primarily considers your preferred employment type, availability, field of study, level of experience and relevant qualifications.
