What can I imagine?
Industrial clerks deal with commercial and business management areas such as materials management, human resources, finance and accounting, purchasing as well as marketing and sales. Have you always had a talent for organization, do you think Excel is neither a chemical nor a space shuttle and don't let an English-speaking person disturb you? Then you are perfect for an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d). Your desk can be in the commercial areas of companies in almost any economic sector. During your three-year apprenticeship you will get to know the different areas of the company, after which you will be ready for an exciting day-to-day professional life.
What am I doing?
As an industrial clerk (m/f/d) you buy goods and manage the inventory, determine costs for orders and projects and monitor production processes. You will also work as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) in the field of marketing and sales, accepting orders, conducting sales negotiations, preparing invoices and planning marketing and advertising measures. You will also handle the bookkeeping, monitor payment transactions and use cost planning and cost control instruments. But personnel management is also one of the tasks of industrial clerks (m/f/d): This is how you plan and determine the deployment of personnel and also participate in personnel decisions
Imagine you have your own company. You would have to take care of the administration and control of the operational processes, make appointments, divide up your staff and of course also ensure that the quality is right in everything. An apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) prepares you for all of these tasks.
