As Head of IT and Digitalisation you will partner with leaders across all business functions to drive FMC’s digital transformation and build a scalable, secure and efficient IT landscape. You will play a key role in evolving the organization from a dynamic startup environment to a mature, process-driven semiconductor company, enabling world-class business operations and technology development.

Master's degree in IT or an engineering domain (manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering)

Minimum 8 years of experience in IT related roles, of which ideally 5+ years have been achieved in the semiconductor industry
Roadmap, architecture, strategy

Define and execute FMC’s IT architecture, technology roadmap and digitalisation strategy to support sustainable business growth and operational excellence.

Establish a secure, scalable, and future-ready IT landscape combining cloud-based and on-premises solutions while maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture.

Drive the implementation of industry standards and best practices to ensure seamless integration and interoperability across the semiconductor ecosystem.

Develop and continuously enhance IT systems supporting semiconductor development, manufacturing execution, quality management and supply chain operations.

Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, aligning internal teams and external partners to successfully execute the IT roadmap.

Ensure compliance with data security, information security and corporate governance requirements.

Oversee laboratory technology infrastructure, including network security, system reliability, maintenance and the continuous improvement of IT services supporting R&D and engineering activities.
Business process integration and collaboration

Integrate technology development, chip design and manufacturing processes into a unified IT landscape to enhance collaboration, efficiency and cross-functional alignment.

Drive the seamless connection of key business functions with ERP (SAP) systems, ensuring standardized, transparent and scalable business processes across the organization.

Manage strategic relationships with vendors, service providers and software suppliers, including license management, contract oversight, and service performance monitoring.

Act as a trusted partner between business and technology teams, translating operational needs into effective and sustainable digital solutions.
Build an IT team for excellent execution of the company strategies-
Build up IT operations to achieve stability and reliability and support the team as working member while you grow the team.

Build and motivate the IT team as a healthy mix of internal and external experts

Solid project management skills.

Strategic partner of the COO/CEO, consulting the company leaders to fullfill the company goals within the IT budget.

Basic knowledge about semiconductor manufacturing (manufacturing execution, semiconductor equipment and processes, technology development)

Experience to cast needs of semiconductor manufacturing and development engineers into projects and finally into realiable IT supported processes

Strong English communication skills, written and spoken, additional language skills in German or Mandarin are a plus
