In this diverse role, you will independently, reliably, and punctually manage the monthly payroll for a defined group of employees. You will ensure full compliance with all payroll tax and social security regulations as well as internal company policies.
Payroll & Systems
- Execution of monthly payroll processing, including all preparatory and follow‑up activities
- Entry, maintenance, and validation of payroll‑relevant data in SAP HCM (PY/PT) and SuccessFactors
- Handling of inbound and outbound payroll cases, including shadow payroll and split payroll scenarios
- Clarification of payroll‑related, payroll tax, and social security matters
Processing of statutory reporting and certification requirements

Occupational Pension & Accounting
- Processing and reviewing cases related to occupational pension schemes (bAV)
- Monitoring incoming payments from receivables involving employees and health insurance providers
Reconciliation of relevant accounts in close cooperation with Financial Accounting

HR Administration
- Preparation of employment contracts, contract amendments, and employment references
- Administration of vacation, absence, and working time accounts
Maintenance and management of digital personnel files

Reporting, Budget & Projects
- Preparation of analyses, reports, and statistics
- Responsibility for HR cost centers and participation in the HR budgeting process
- Support during annual financial closing activities
Participation in innovative HR projects (digitalization, process optimization, introduction of new tools and workflows)

What are we looking for?
- Completed commercial vocational training, ideally with additional qualification (e.g. HR Specialist / Payroll specialization)
- Several years of professional experience in payroll processing
- Very good knowledge of payroll tax, social security, labor, and collective bargaining law
- Solid expertise in occupational pension schemes and implementation models
- Confident user of SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and MS Office
- Independent, structured, and service‑oriented working style
- High level of discretion, reliability, and strong team spirit
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Experience in the metal industry is a plus, but not a requirement
