Your Tasks
Responsible for implementing system and configuration requirements in dedicated IT systems
Coordination with projects, specialist departments, public authorities, service providers and suppliers
Planning, installation, configuration and administration of server and storage systems, virtualisation and Windows operating systems, as well as network components and client systems
Preparing procurement processes in collaboration with the purchasing department for suitable hardware and software components
Operating complex IT systems to meet client specifications, whilst taking information security aspects into account, as well as carrying out fault analysis and troubleshooting within one’s own area of responsibility
Detailed documentation of IT systems and processes
Your Qualifications
Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration (IHK) or a comparable qualification
Several years’ professional experience as an IT systems engineer or IT administrator
Experience in operating complex IT systems is desirable
Experience in the field of IT security, as well as knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, is an advantage
A structured, analytical approach to work and a sense of responsibility, combined with the ability to work independently and reliability
Fluency in spoken and written German and English
