This is a pivotal moment to join our Logistics & Supply Chain Operations Project Team. We are currently laying the foundation for a stronger resilient supply chain, enabling our operations to achieve ambitious ramp-up.
We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and customer-centric leader to drive the transformation, standardization, and harmonization of our global logistics landscape. As a member of the PIOSL community, you will be responsible for developing best-in-class material flow solutions and implementing standardized delivery flows.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your mission is to design strategic material flow solutions while aligning with stakeholders across cabin-, equipment-, and standard parts procurement, as well as program sponsors and central teams. Your playground encompasses reverse engineering from production distribution, logistics, supply chain to procurement. Bridging the gap between logistics, quality, and procurement, you will act as the vital link in our supply chain, driving seamless collaboration with our global suppliers.
Tasks & Accountabilities
Project Leadership & Team Management
Multifunctional Matrix Leadership: Lead large project teams to deliver complex supply chain projects within time, scope, cost, and quality targets.
External Work Package Management: Specify, procure and monitor the delivery of two strategic external work packages to ensure high-quality results and adherence to project requirements.
Organizational Empowerment: Define robust project structures and lead cross-divisional stakeholders toward shared strategic goals.
Global Supplier Interface: Navigate international procurement networks as the primary point of contact for global suppliers, ensuring full alignment with procurement exchange governance.
Strategic Transformation & Harmonization
End-to-End Process Standardization: Transition legacy flows into standardized FU.SD flows, establishing new benchmarks for efficient material management.
Innovation: Deploy cutting-edge logistics concepts with a focus on "one-touch" simplicity and transparency across European sites, also to enable Opti-Flow targets
Airbus Resource Planning (SAP-EWM): Act as the strategic catalyst and key driver of transforming our legacy system landscape into a harmonized, high-performance system that powers our future operations.
Change Management & Deployment
Lead complex deployment initiatives : Navigating in high-pressure operational landscapes with a structured change management methodology.
Ensure operational readiness : Tracking fulfillment levels and integrating stakeholder feedback into the project lifecycle.
Benchmarking for Excellence: Systematically compare internal performance against global logistics benchmarks to identify and close efficiency gaps
Operational Excellence & Rate Readiness
Secure Rate Readiness: Take end-to-end responsibility for logistics and warehousing capacity to support production ramp-up from the supplier to the "Point of Use" at the assembly line.
Strategic Negotiation: Evaluate and negotiate distribution solutions by aligning logistics, procurement, and production operations to achieve win-win outcomes.
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Professional Track Record: 5+ years of experience in supply chain, finance or industrial management.
Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a project or senior work package leader within hybrid and agile environments.
Technical & Hard Skills
Project Expertise: At least 3 years of project management within an LBIP context, formal PM certification and commitment to continuous professional development.
Systems & Tools: High proficiency in SAP (supply chain modules) and local Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Industry Insight: Experience working on the supplier side is a distinct advantage

Expert Communication: Ability to adapt communication styles for various forums, from the operations to senior management presentations.
Influencing & Persuasion: Strong ability to navigate different perspectives and influence stakeholders at every stage of the project.
Analytical Mindset: Exceptional conceptual skills with a structured, results-oriented approach to complex problem-solving.
