About The Team
You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reverse logistics specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage daily operations of the reverse logistics department, including receiving, inspection, sorting, processing, and disposition of returned products.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures for returned items, ensuring accurate assessment and categorization.
- Optimize reverse logistics workflows and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize turnaround times.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., customer service, quality assurance, warehousing) to streamline return processes and resolve issues.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to reverse logistics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to product handling and disposal.
- Identify and implement best practices in reverse logistics and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage inventory of returned goods and coordinate with relevant teams for refurbishment, resale, or responsible disposal.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or complex return scenarios.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a leadership or supervisory role within a reverse logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of reverse logistics principles, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize operations and improve efficiency.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluency in German and English is highly preferred. Mandarin is a plus.
