Your tasks:
- Independent procurement of technical components for new construction projects and associated services for in-house production and customer sites, including order processing
- Price and service negotiations with suppliers and service providers, as well as presenting award recommendations to executive management
- Responsibility for specific product categories, including conducting cost comparisons and benchmarking for those categories
- Representing the purchasing team within one or more new construction projects
- Close collaboration with quality management, production, engineering, and materials planning/scheduling
- Analyzing existing and new procurement markets and coordinating as necessary
- Developing strategies in conjunction with the purchasing department of the French parent company
Education:
- Completed technical or commercial vocational training or a comparable qualification, with a good understanding of technical matters—ideally in the marine sector.
Your profile:
- Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing or manufacturing within the production industry
- Structured and solution-oriented approach
- Quick grasp of new concepts, along with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strategic negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and proficiency in MS Office
- German speaker with good written and spoken English skills
