Aufgaben
- Play a key role in shaping Group-wide data governance by ensuring data is trusted, discoverable, and responsibly used across the organization, with a strong focus on the Group Data Catalog (Data Galaxy)
- Contribute to the development of a pragmatic AI governance framework by supporting the definition of roles, principles, and controls that ensure compliant, transparent, and business-aligned use of AI across the Group
- Strengthen the quality, completeness, and adoption of the Data Catalog by analyzing data systems, governance frameworks, and real business usage in close collaboration with IT and business teams
- Drive transparency and decision-making by defining and maintaining governance KPIs, dashboards, and steering materials for management and data governance bodies
- Co-design and operationalize Group-wide data and AI data governance policies, validating concepts through POCs and embedding scalable, sustainable standards into daily practices
- Act as an early adopter of modern data governance and AI-related tooling, providing hands-on feedback to improve reliability, usability, and adoption
- Translate user needs and feedback into clear, actionable requirements to continuously enhance data accessibility and self-service capabilities
- Partner with DPO, IRM, and IT teams to ensure aligned approaches to data accountability, regulatory compliance, and responsible data use for advanced analytics and AI initiatives
- Serve as a visible ambassador of the Data Office, promoting best practices, supporting strategic data transformation initiatives (e.g., self-service BI, Data Platform evolution), and guiding teams toward greater data autonomy and maturity
Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- Strong interest in the financial and banking sector, ideally supported by relevant professional experience in a complex, regulated environment
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, with demonstrated ownership, impact, and the ability to drive topics independently
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage: data governance, data analytics, financial analysis, consulting, or change management
- High level of autonomy and initiative, with the ability to structure projects end-to-end and communicate clear action plans to senior stakeholders
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex or technical topics for both business and IT audiences, supported by high-quality PowerPoint presentations
- Advanced data handling and analysis skills using SQL, Python or Excel/VBA
- First hands-on experience with modern Data Platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, MS Fabric) is a plus
- Prior experience working with a data catalog (e.g., DataGalaxy, Collibra, Purview, or similar tools) is a strong advantage and will enable a faster onboarding
- Strong motivation to create tangible impact through data, with a clear interest in enabling and governing AI and advanced analytics use cases in a responsible and scalable way
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken, and fluent in English; French is a plus
