How you’ll make a difference
- Identify contractual risks and develop effective mitigation strategies in line with internal policies and processes.
- Partner with Project Management, Controlling, and Project Procurement to safeguard Dematic’s contractual position throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Support the preparation of governance and approval documentation to ensure compliance and timely decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders driving alignment across all phases of the project.
- Monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance with key terms, including payment milestones, accounting requirements, guarantees, bonds, and other commercial commitments.
- Lead and support contract settlement discussions and negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other contract partners.
- Contribute to successful project execution by proactively identifying opportunities, resolving contractual issues, and minimizing risk.
What we’re looking for
- University degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field, with a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Relevant experience in contract and claim management, contract analysis and drafting, and/or legal advisory roles, ideally within large-scale projects.
- Fluent English and German language skills, both written and spoken, are essential. Additional knowledge of French, Italian, or Spanish is considered an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, combined with analytical thinking, creativity, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated persistence, resilience, and confidence in managing challenging contractual situations and resolving conflicts.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach, with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
- Willingness to travel as required.
