To strenghten our team, we are looking for a Product Design Intern who shares our focus on a natural and collective spirit to join our movement of mindful consumerism.
- Assisting in our ceramic workshop: Production of moulds, ceramic casting, finishing, glazing
- Assisting in the development of ideas and concepts
- Creation of design sketches and illustrations
- Production of prototypes and models in our workshop
- Creation of 3D CAD models (preferably Rhino)
- Working on specific projects
- Researching materials, manufacturers and suppliers
- Supporting communication and cooperation with manufacturers and suppliers
- Experimenting with materials, shapes and constructions
- Assisting with photo shoots
- You are within a study programme in the field of design, ideally with a focus on furniture design
- You can identify with the philosophy and aesthetics of Schneid Studio
- You have good knowledge of CAD (Rhino) and Photoshop
- You have a strong rhetoric of the German language, as well as good English skills
- You have initiative, creativity and analytical skills
- You ideally have at least 3 months time for the full-time internship.
- Extensive experience in the entire design process, from idea and concept development to prototyping and series production
