We are recruiting an assertive Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to direct site-level accounting operations (HGB), guide team members, assist with group IFRS consolidations, and contribute to an active ERP integration.
Core Accountabilities

Financial Management & Period-End: Lead plant-level financial accounting, executing monthly and year-end close procedures according to German GAAP (HGB).

Consolidated Reporting: Prepare financial data packages for corporate integration and manage international transactions under IFRS standards.

Operational Leadership: Direct, coach, and support two accountants overseeing AP and AR functions.

Process & Asset Accounting: Supervise intercompany balancing, maintain intercompany protocols, direct fixed asset ledgers (Anlagenbuchhaltung), and refine financial reporting routines.

ERP Deployment: Contribute practically to the launch and refinement of our Infor LN enterprise system.

Audit Liaison: Coordinate directly with third-party auditors and tax consultants during financial audits.
Target Profile

Languages: Advanced, fluent command of German (C1) for local compliance and internal leadership, alongside strong business English (C1) for group-wide collaboration.

Background: Substantial experience managing corporate accounts, ideally within the industrial, manufacturing, or automotive supply sectors.

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of HGB financial reporting coupled with working knowledge of corporate IFRS structures.

Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; alternatively, a commercial background complemented by a certified Bilanzbuchhalter credential.

Approach: Methodical, self-directed, pragmatic, and clear in communication.

Preferred Attributes: Exposure to automotive production environments; experience with Infor LN or similar enterprise ERP tools; team-oriented mindset with occasional travel availability.
