Position Overview
We are hiring experienced Bosnian-English Medical Interpreters for full-time, remote positions. This role focuses on providing over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) in clinical settings such as primary care, emergency services, and mental health consultations.
We are seeking professionals who bring accuracy, confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural competence to every interaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and neutral interpretation between Mandarin-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare staff
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times
- Interpret medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare information with precision and clarity
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and the Interpreter Code of Ethics
- Handle a variety of medical scenarios with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Remain available during scheduled shifts and attend required coaching sessions or QA reviews
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Korean and English
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and interpreter protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education preferred
- Excellent listening, memory, and note-taking skills
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms and call types
- Must successfully pass a language proficiency assessment and background check
