Duration: 6 months
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Aim of the master’s thesis: development of a tool for data analysis and workload prediction
Having an overview of the current workload and the workload coming up in the future be able to plan accordingly and distribute workload warn early, if work can’t be completed on time
Research, collection, analysis and sorting of data coming from several input sources (workload vs. available resources)
Work scope definition, e.g. limitation to certain modules or other
Assessment and analysis of potential risk, including diagnosis, prevention, solution and warnings.
Compare tool prediction with reality implement improvements and optimization loops
Work inflow control
Apply company objectives to our business/team
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Computer Science, Business Informatics, MBA or an equivalent field of study.
Programming Skills:
Strong knowledge and experience in Python mandatory (including python libraries for statistics, machine learning, etc.)
Data analytics, data cleaning, data wrangling
Basic knowledge in Java Script, Spark, …
AI affinity and proficiency in prompt engineering mandatory
Knowledge in estimation methods and statistics
Basic understanding of economics, finances, resources planning is a plus
MBSE is a plus
Strong communication skills needed
Fluent in German and English
