About the role and team
Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don't come with a script. As an Account Manager for Global Delivery Partnerships, you will manage some of our most influential and complex national restaurant brands. This is a high-stakes, client-facing role where you bridge the gap between Uber's global logistics platform and the strategic growth of enterprise partners.
The pace here is fast and the environment is unmapped; you'll need to make smart decisions with imperfect information and own them end-to-end. This role isn't just about managing accounts-it's about resilient problem-solving and consultative storytelling in a landscape that changes daily. If you are energized by the "messy reality" of building high-value partnerships and motivated by the challenge of influencing C-level decision-makers, this is where you'll grow.
What you'll do
- Own the growth and success of a portfolio of national enterprise partners, navigating internal complexity and shifting priorities to exceed quarterly growth goals.
- Build and sustain trusting relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers, earning their confidence through reliability and deep subject-matter expertise.
- Drive operational excellence by using internal data to identify patterns in delivery timeliness and completion rates, then pitching actionable plans to improve performance.
- Act as an internal advocate and the voice of the customer, unblocking growth by navigating complex internal processes across Product, Marketing, and Legal.
- Deliver data-backed insights and methodologies to highlight trends, uncovering opportunities for partners to increase investment through a creative lens.
- Lead the launch and management of complex campaigns and integrations, proactively communicating updates and setting realistic expectations through high-velocity execution.
Basic Qualifications
- 5 + years of professional experience with a minimum of 3 years in a client-facing role managing enterprise or mid-market accounts.
- Proven track record of building and implementing joint business plans that drive strategic value.
- Experience using data to influence senior decision-makers and quantify commercial opportunities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward measurable impact.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing global brands within food delivery or third-party marketplaces.
- Background in advertising sales, marketing, or business development at a leading restaurant brand.
- Proficiency in SQL for independent data-driven decision-making and reporting.
Demonstrated grit and resourcefulness when navigating ambiguous product or market conditions.
