We're looking for a QA Engineer to own quality across our software platform. You will work at the intersection of test architecture, developer collaboration, and continuous delivery — designing automation frameworks, driving quality processes within agile teams, and setting the bar for what "done" means.

What you'll be doing
Test design & automation

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and TypeScript with a BDD framework

Create and maintain manual and automated test cases across all test levels — component, integration, and end-to-end

Perform exploratory testing and drive thorough test coverage across frontend and backend services

Implement test design patterns such as Page Objects to ensure maintainability and scalability

Leverage AI tooling — including internal MCP integrations — to accelerate test generation, coverage analysis, and defect triage; contribute to building AI-assisted QA agents as part of our quality automation roadmap
Quality processes & collaboration

Ensure high software quality within scrum teams by establishing QA processes and working closely with developers and product owners

Lead and participate in three-amigos sessions to define clear, testable acceptance criteria

Drive continuous improvement of QA methodologies and best practices to improve testing effectiveness across the organisation
Reporting & documentation

Manage test cases, test plans, and execution cycles in Xray, keeping coverage and traceability aligned with requirements

Document and report defects with accurate, detailed descriptions using designated bug tracking tools

Generate comprehensive test reports, metrics, and documentation for stakeholders and project teams

Maintain testing procedures, test plans, and verification documents in line with project requirements
Mentorship & knowledge sharing

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of learning and quality ownership
Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in manual and automated testing methodologies

2+ years of hands-on test automation experience; 1+ years with TypeScript specifically

In-depth knowledge of SDLC, testing processes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright

Hands-on experience across end-to-end UI testing, REST API testing, boundary testing, and frontend/backend service testing

Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and testing in tools like GitLab

BDD experience with Cucumber and associated best practices

Involved in the design phase of testing frameworks, including requirements analysis and gap identification

Hands-on experience with test management tooling (Xray or comparable) and a working familiarity with AI-assisted QA workflows, including agent-based and MCP integrations

Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
