We are looking for a VMware Administrator (m/f/d) who will be responsible for the operations and optimiasation of our VMware vSphere and Horizon environment
These exciting tasks await you:
Setting up and configuring VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts and vCenter
Creating and managin virtual machines to optimise the infrastructure
Configuration of storage (SAN, NAS, vSAN) for effiecient data storage
Troubleshooting and error correction to ensure smooth operation
Managing access rights and security policies for virtual environments
Development and implementation of backup and recovery strategies
Patch and update management for hosts to ensure system security
Analysing and resolving performance problems to increase efficiency
Collaboration in 1st and 2nd level support to assist internal users
Your soft skills:
Very good communication and teamwork skills
Independent and responsible way of working
Curiosity and motivation to deal with new topics
The ability to solve complex problems independently
Our requirements:
Ideally a degree in computer science or equivalent training
You have a sound knowledge of VMware and ideally have already gained practical experience in this environemnt
Solid experience in the configuration and administration of VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts and vCenter
Expertise in creating and managing virtual machines
Ability to quickly troubleshoot and analyse problems in VMware environments
Good written and spoken German and English skills
