For our Cologne office, we are looking for a motivated Working Student (all genders) in Finance & Controlling to join us as soon as possible, working 15–20 hours per week. In this role, you will support our EMESA Finance & Controlling Team (EMESA = Europe, Middle East, South America & Africa) with a variety of operational and administrative tasks.

You will be closely involved in operational controlling, supporting activities such as project setup and ensuring the correct allocation of working hours in our finance system.

You will keep an eye on our pipeline and support all processes related to our CRM tool – from setting up new cases to managing proposals and client cases.

You will be an important point of contact for Finance and Controlling topics, coordinating incoming requests via our team inbox and supporting their timely and reliable resolution.

You will also actively contribute to the preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting.

In addition, you will independently prepare data analyses and reports at an aggregated level for various internal stakeholders.

You will conduct ad hoc analyses and support our controllers in their day-to-day work.

You will critically review existing processes and help us further develop and automate them using modern tools and AI-based solutions.

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on business or economics

Ideally, you have already gained some initial experience in creating Excel-based analyses or overviews through internships or other part-time roles.

You are confident using the Microsoft Office suite.

You have very good written and spoken German and English skills

You describe yourself as an open, friendly and communicative person and have a professional manner.

You have strong organizational skills and work independently, carefully and reliably.

You are a quick learner with a strong ability to turn ideas and tasks into action.
