The Institute of Experimental Cancer Therapy at TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar invites applications for a Scientific Administrator / Scientific Project Manager to support the international DEFEAT-PDAC consortium. DEFEAT-PDAC is a German Cancer Aid-funded, interdisciplinary research network within the German Pancreatic Cancer Alliance involving 13 partner sites in Germany and North America. The consortium aims to decode and therapeutically target the pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) ecosystem, with a particular focus on cancer–immune interactions, therapy resistance, translational model systems, data integration, patient involvement and the development of innovative combination therapies.
The successful candidate will work closely with Prof. Dieter Saur, the consortium leadership, scientific project leaders, integrative platforms, clinical and data-science partners, patient advocates and external stakeholders. This position is ideal for a highly organized scientist or science manager who enjoys coordinating complex collaborative research and translating scientific progress into clear reports, workflows and communication formats.
If the candidates’ suitability for the position in question is equal, severely disabled applicants shall be given preference. Interview-related costs can, unfortunately, not be reimbursed.
