Responsibility:
▪ Perform installation, commissioning, and calibration of metal additive manufacturing systems, and support for acceptance.
▪ Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, including laser calibration, recoater adjustments, inert gas system checks, etc.
▪ Diagnose and solve mechanical, electrical, and software issues with a first-time fix approach.
▪ Provide on-site customer training on machine operation, safety, and maintenance procedures.
▪ Ensure full compliance with safety protocols, especially in handling metal powders.
▪ Prepare clear and complete service reports, logs, and documentation.
▪ Management of BLT service tools and spare parts inventory to ensure accurate inventory of assigned company assets
▪ Collaborate with engineering and support teams for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
▪ Support process optimization and contribute to internal knowledge development.
Requirements:
▪ Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields.
▪ 3+ years of experience with metal additive manufacturing systems or complex industrial machinery.
▪ Fluency in English and Chinese(written and spoken) is mandatory.
▪ Knowledge of a third language (e.g., German, Spanish, or others) is preferred.
▪ Ability to write technical documentation, including procedures, maintenance manuals, installation guides, and service reports.
▪ Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
▪ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
▪ Hands-on understanding of powder-bed fusion processes and machine calibration.
▪ Proficiency with diagnostic tools and process control systems.
▪ Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
▪ Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
▪ Flexible and adaptable; willing to travel
