Your Mission
In this strategically critical leadership role, you will drive the global Business Development and Alliance Management agenda, shaping sustainable growth across markets and therapeutic areas. Acting as a key interface to the Italian parent company, you will ensure strategic alignment while strengthening the local and international footprint of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership

Define and implement the global Business Development and Alliance Management strategy in alignment with executive leadership and the Italian parent company

Actively contribute to the overall corporate strategy and portfolio roadmap

Portfolio & Growth Management

Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of generic and innovative product opportunities

Drive strategic portfolio optimization, prioritization, and lifecycle management across markets

Proactively identify new growth areas, business models, and revenue streams

Deal-Making & Negotiations

Lead and execute complex international in-licensing and out-licensing transactions

Negotiate commercial, legal, and strategic frameworks with partners at senior executive level

Ensure disciplined deal evaluation (financial, strategic, regulatory) and decision-making

Alliance Management

Establish, manage, and further develop high-value strategic partnerships and alliances

Act as executive sponsor for key collaborations, ensuring long-term value creation and alignment

Cross-Functional Leadership

Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Controlling, and Legal to ensure seamless execution of product and partnership initiatives

Your Profile
- University degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred

Extensive (10+ years) experience in Business Development, Licensing, or Strategy within the pharmaceutical industry

Proven track record in leading complex international deal negotiations and partnerships

Strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional and international teams

Deep understanding of pharmaceutical markets (generics and/or specialty/innovative products)

Strong financial acumen and experience in evaluating business cases and transactions

Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with international parent organizations

High level of resilience, ownership, and decision-making capability

C1 proficiency in German and English

Italian language skills are a strong plus
