Your new responsibilities

Central point of contact for all corporate income tax matters relating to the German entities.

Preparation and/or review of corporate tax returns, including tax balance sheets and e-balance sheets, in collaboration with GBS, Country Finance, and Subsidiary Management for all German entities.

Support during tax audits of German entities, including preparation of documentation, coordination with tax auditors, and follow-up on audit findings.

Independently maintain, update, and reconcile the tax provision roll-forward (tax balance sheet accounts) in coordination with the relevant departments.

Calculate tax-related key figures under IFRS and German GAAP (HGB), identify temporary differences, and prepare tax reconciliations for quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.

Support the maintenance and enhancement of the Tax Compliance Management System (Tax CMS) and further develop processes related to direct taxation.

Contribute to digitalization projects within the direct tax area.

Provide functional leadership in the implementation of standardization initiatives and process optimization measures.
Who we are looking for
-
Successfully completed university degree with a focus on Taxation, Business Law, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification; a certified tax advisor qualification (Steuerberaterexamen) is desirable.
- Several years of professional experience (at least five years) in the tax department of a company and/or within a tax advisory or auditing firm.
- Solid experience in participating in or leading projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary and international teams.
- Strong technical expertise in German taxation and tax accounting under both HGB and IFRS.
- Good project management skills combined with a high level of initiative and accountability.
- Structured, diligent, and analytical working style with a strong commitment to quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP; strong affinity for digital solutions and process optimization.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
