About the Role
We are hiring on behalf of our client, an established global technology company, for an experienced Business Development Manager specializing in Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutions.
This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in channel sales, business development, partner management, and networking or storage products. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's NAS business across the European market by developing strategic partnerships, driving sales growth, and strengthening customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow NAS product sales across Europe.
- Build, manage, and expand relationships with distributors, resellers, system integrators, and channel partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide customers and partners with NAS product solutions that address their business needs.
- Manage sales opportunities and customer projects from initial engagement through successful completion.
- Collaborate with European and international sales, marketing, and product teams to support business growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, exhibitions, customer meetings, and partner activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, channel sales, partner management, or distribution within the IT industry.
- Hands-on experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) products is required.
- Strong knowledge of networking products, storage solutions, and the European IT channel landscape.
- Established relationships with distributors, resellers, or channel partners within Europe are highly desirable.
- Native-level German language skills and professional English communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Willing and able to travel throughout Europe as needed.
Preferred Industry Background
Candidates with experience from companies such as:
- Synology
- QNAP
- TP-Link
- Hikvision
Experience with other enterprise storage, networking, or NAS solution providers will also be considered.
