PORR is expanding its data center activities and is seeking a Design Manager to coordinate design delivery on a large data center construction project. The role covers design programme, RFIs, design reviews, consultant coordination, subcontractor design, buildability, procurement support, and construction interface management.
- Management of the design programme and design deliverables
- Coordination of consultants, subcontractor design, internal teams, and client comments
- Tracking of RFIs, design changes, technical queries, and design decisions
- Leadership of design coordination meetings and technical workshops
- Alignment of design information with procurement, construction, inspection, and commissioning requirements
- Management of the design risk register and escalation of design issues affecting cost, programme, or quality
- Support of buildability, maintainability, and value engineering reviews
- Coordination of design interfaces between CSA, MEP, security, BMS, fire systems, telecoms, and commissioning
