Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile IT Specialist to manage and support the company’s day-to-day technology operations in a small business environment. This role is responsible for maintaining company IT infrastructure, managing software licenses and subscriptions, administering mobile devices, and providing technical support to employees.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain and support the company’s IT infrastructure, including workstations, laptops, printers, network equipment, servers, and cloud services
· Administer and monitor network performance, connectivity, and security
· Manage software licenses, subscriptions, renewals, and vendor relationships
· Configure, deploy, and maintain company mobile phones and mobile device management (MDM) systems
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and user issues
· Set up and onboard new employees with devices, accounts, and access permissions
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity/access systems
· Ensure regular backups, updates, patching, and system maintenance are completed
· Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and access controls
· Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when needed
· Document IT processes, configurations, asset inventory, and support procedures
· Recommend and implement improvements to IT systems and processes
Qualifications
· Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT operations
· Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac environments, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and common business software
· Experience managing networks, firewalls, routers, Wi-Fi, and endpoint devices
· Familiarity with software license management and IT asset tracking
· Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms preferred
· Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service mindset
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a small-company environment

· Experience supporting small or mid-sized businesses
· Hands-on, adaptable mindset with willingness to handle a broad range of IT responsibilities
· Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar are a plus
