The Packaging & Product Graphic Designer creatively designs and prepares artwork across a variety of marketing and communication requirements, with a strong focus on high-impact packaging. Reporting to the Global Product Projects Manager, you will act as a key link between marketing, regulatory affairs, quality, purchasing, and external suppliers. From initial creative concepts to print production and product renders, your expertise will directly enhance how the Ego brand is visually represented in the market.
Creative Graphic Design: Receive and refine creative briefs to deliver innovative design solutions across packaging, websites, advertising, point of sale, print, and digital media.
Packaging & Product Concepts: Develop creative packaging concepts, interactive images, and realistic visual renders that adhere to brand guidelines and maximize visual impact.
Finished Art & Dielines: Create production-ready finished artwork and dielines within agreed timelines, ensuring compatibility with Ego filling lines and supplier capabilities.
Supplier & Print Management: Engage with packaging suppliers, conduct press checks, oversee first print runs, and take accountability for setting strict color standards.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all designs and imagery strictly comply with TGA and internal brand style guidelines.
Process & Housekeeping: Proactively follow up on job progress, maintain safety and housekeeping standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
We are looking for an innovative designer who balances artistic flair with technical accuracy and knowledge of packaging production.
Design Expertise: Solid experience in packaging design, finished art production, dieline creation, and preparing files for print.
Technical Versatility: Proficiency in creating realistic product renders, interactive imagery, and adapting concepts across digital and print media.
Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with design constraints within regulated environments (such as TGA guidelines).
Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to color standards, press check verification, and job tracking through to delivery.
Collaborative Spirit: Ability to liaise effectively with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Purchasing, and external suppliers.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Drive to suggest operational improvements and develop innovative solutions to daily challenges.
Production Line Understanding: Knowledge of how packaging design interacts with automated filling lines and manufacturing capabilities.
