We are seeking a Labor Relations Consultant to join our Employee Experience (EX) team in Munich. In this role, you will play a key part in encouraging constructive and productive labor relations by partnering closely with our German Works Council. The ideal candidate combines deep labor relations expertise with strong stakeholder management skills, a collaborative approach , and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
What you'll Do
Build and nurture a strong and collaborative relationship with our German Works Council
Act as the main liaison for interactions and consultations with the Works Council
Lead and coordinate information and consultation processes, including preparing materials, facilitating discussions, managing communications, and coordinating expert audits when required
Manage Works Council committees and coordinate related budgets and administrative processes
Negotiate Works Council agreements and employment-related initiatives that align with strategic objectives and employee interests
Gather feedback from employee representatives and Works Council members, providing meaningful insights and updates to key collaborators
Continuously improve processes and drive consistency in our approach to social dialogue and employee representation
Partner across the business
Act as a dependable advisor to leaders and Employee Experience teams on Works Council matters for Germany
Address specific EMEA-wide Labor Relations topics alongside other Labor Relations Consultants in the region to ensure alignment and consistency across Works Councils
Support business changes impacting employees, including hiring, organizational changes, and other workforce initiatives
Support the implementation of new or updated people programs, policies, and practices
Work together with Employment Legal, Employee Relations and COEs on Employee Relations issues and Employment Law topics as necessary

Comprehensive knowledge of German Labor laws and Employment regulations
Significant experience working with Works Councils and employee representatives in Germany
A collaborative and solution-focused approach and experience in building positive relationships across different areas and layers of the organization
Strong influencing skills and the ability to unite people around common objectives
Comfortable working in a matrixed, diverse, and fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve.
Excellent communication skills, including active listening, facilitation, presentation, and collaborator management.
Proficient in both German and English required; additional languages are a plus.
