About the role
As Team Lead Inside Sales, you will lead a team of seven colleagues in our Düsseldorf office while actively contributing to the day-to-day operations of the business. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient order processing, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration, helping to deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive operational excellence.
What you will do
You lead, coach, and organize a team of seven Inside Sales professionals, ensuring effective work allocation, knowledge sharing, and continuous development.
You optimize and coordinate Inside Sales processes, working closely with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.
You ensure accurate purchasing and logistics processes by coordinating deliveries, reviewing invoices and shipping documentation, and managing relationships with external logistics providers in cooperation with related dept.
You act as the SAP S/4 HANA key user for OTC, supporting process improvements and serving as the primary contact for audits and operational inquiries.
You coordinate domestic and international logistics by organizing shipments, monitor deliveries, collaborate with warehouses, suppliers incl. transport price requests, and freight forwarders, and manage transport-related documentation.
You evaluate customer orders to verify completeness and correctness (VAT, prices, etc.) as well as shipping documents, proofs of deliveries and other related documents and keep track of overdue.
You support supply chain planning by tracking product availability, coordinating consignment stock replenishment, and providing customer forecasts to production planning.
You deliver high-quality customer service by acting as the primary contact for customer inquiries and complaints, resolving logistics issues, and managing insurance claims related to transport and warehousing.

What you bring
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a comparable commercial qualification and bring several years of experience in Inside Sales, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
You have strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (OTC) and are confident working with Excel and other MS Office applications.
You have a solid understanding of international trade and transports, including import and export regulations, VAT, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
You are an organized and customer and service-focused leader who takes ownership, communicates effectively across functions, and enjoys driving continuous improvement.
You are fluent in English and German (written and oral), have a strong analytical mindset, and thrive in an international, fast-paced environment.
