Germany is currently the fastest-growing market within CitySafes. We have signed several strategic banking partnerships following our blueprint for a nationwide rollout. To support this next phase of growth, we are looking for a hands-on yet strategic partnership and implementation manager to strengthen our organization and to play an active role in driving our growth in Germany.
The Role
You will own the implementation and operational success of our strategic banking partnerships, while also supporting other strategic partnerships such as with international insurance companies and precious metals dealers.
As the central project lead, you will oversee the full project, coordinate all internal and external stakeholders - from key partner contacts to construction, IT, operations and finance - to ensure successful execution and identify opportunities to further strengthen each partnership.
No two partnerships are the same. Every implementation combines commercial, operational, analytical, technical and construction-related challenges, requiring pragmatic problem-solving and close collaboration across multiple disciplines.
You will report directly to the Managing Director Germany and work closely with both the German team and our international colleagues.
Your Threefold Responsibility
1. Partnership Management
- Set up and implement banking partnerships tailored to the needs of each individual partner.
- Drive implementation projects from planning through execution, coordinating internal teams (IT, Finance, Operations, Construction, etc.) and partner stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with key partner stakeholders and ensure everyone stays aligned throughout the implementation.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and support further commercial growth where appropriate.
- Maintain clear project documentation, reporting and visibility on implementation progress and KPIs.
- Take ownership and make sure things get done - pragmatically, efficiently and hands-on.
2. Operational excellence
· Ensure the operational success of each partnership, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, conversion rates and service quality.
- Coordinate and implement all operational workstreams required for a successful partnership (e.g. customer communication, call handling, templates and supporting processes).
- Support the CitySafes Operations team in recruiting, onboarding, training and coaching employees within your partnership branches.
- Become fully trained in our branch and customer service operations to build the practical understanding needed to coach teams and make projects a success.
- Take ownership of delegated and high-priority assignments, including at short notice, to ensure operational continuity, support leadership capacity, and maintain execution excellence.
3. Scaling & Continuous Improvement
- Translate project learnings into scalable blueprints for future partnerships in the German market.
- Identify best practices and continuously improve our implementation approach and operational processes.
- Share learnings across the international organization and leverage best practices from other countries.

You combine hands-on execution with strong project management, and you thrive in a dynamic, growing organization. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You enjoy leading complex implementation projects involving multiple stakeholders and are equally comfortable discussing concepts in a meeting room as solving operational challenges on site. As details matter, you are able to zoom out but also have a close eye for detail.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience, either in operations or implementation consulting or as project manager in the industry
- Based in the broader Cologne area.
- Willing to travel across Germany regularly.
