The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will lead new customer acquisition across the North and East German market, targeting major manufacturers to secure new logos.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing strategic relationships, managing long sales cycles,and converting new business opportunities into commercial partnerships.
This role is ideally suited to a highly proactive sales professional who enjoys high-volume business development activity and has a proven track recordof generating and closing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Drive new businessdevelopment activity acrossthe German market

Identify, target, and win new customers withinDairy, Food to go, meat and protein, produce and ready meals markets

Build relationships across multiplestakeholder levels includingprocurement, operations, manufacturing, and commercial leadership

Manage complex and consultative sales processes from prospecting throughto close

Generate pipelineactivity through outboundprospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic market engagement

Collaborate internally with manufacturing, operations, and leadership teams to deliver commercial solutions

Maintain momentum acrosslonger sales cyclesand production lead times

Develop territory growth plans and execute againstambitious revenue targets

Represent the businessat customer meetings,industry events, and trade shows
