Key Responsibilities
As a Production Planner & Procurement Coordinator, you will act as the “conductor” of your production area. You will combine operational procurement and production control to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations while maintaining the highest level of on-time delivery performance.
Integrated Planning

Create, manage, and monitor detailed production schedules (finite scheduling) while considering machine capacities and workforce availability.

Ensure optimal production flow and adherence to delivery commitments.
Operational Procurement

Independently place orders and monitor delivery dates for raw materials, purchased parts, and components sourced from framework agreement suppliers.

Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure material availability.
Inventory Management

Ensure material availability at the point of use.

Manage inventory levels effectively while preventing excess stock and minimizing shortages.
Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate closely with Logistics (Goods Receiving), Production Management, and Strategic Purchasing.

Act as a key interface between procurement and manufacturing operations.
Disruption Management

React promptly to supply delays, machine breakdowns, and other operational disruptions.

Adjust material call-offs and production priorities as required to maintain production continuity.
Qualifications & Education
-
Completed technical vocational qualification (e.g., State-Certified Technician, Master Craftsman, or equivalent) or a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.

Sound knowledge of industrial engineering methods and standards (e.g., REFA, MTM) as well as manufacturing technologies.

Practical experience working with ERP systems in production planning and control.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured and self-driven approach to work.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
