The Sales Executive drives new business growth with a keen emphasis on new logos from the initial conception of the opportunity to contract signing. He or she is responsible for building the business by identifying and selling to prospects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods, such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods, such as networking.
- Establish relationships and secure contracts with new customers that lead to achieving assigned sales quotas and targets.
- Consult with the prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.
- Work with technical staff, product specialists, and delivery teams to address customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for the company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes, and forecasted sales.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to work across organizations and meet with stakeholders within accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in enterprise software sales.
- Fluency in a language other than English (i.e., German)
- Experience in technical sales (solution sales) to the automotive and auto-parts industry.
