WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
For a challenging and dynamic role characterized by a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, we are seeking an experienced professional with proven experience in the defense industry. In the Strategic Programs International department, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Maintaining and expanding the network in strategic markets with a focus on defense ministries as well as national and supranational procurement organizations in line with the corporate strategy
Proactively identifying strategic customer needs and deriving corresponding business development activities in the defense sector
Managing and coordinating group-wide, cross-business-unit, and executive board-relevant defense projects during the sales and execution phases
Advising and informing the Executive Board on strategic and operational issues with a focus on defense programs and procurement projects
Monitoring project performance and milestones, as well as initiating corrective measures at an early stage for ongoing major projects
Close collaboration with national and international stakeholders from industry, government agencies, and procurement organizations to support strategic corporate goals
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
A successfully completed degree in communications, economics, political science, engineering, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in the defense industry is mandatory
In-depth knowledge of strategic direction and procurement processes in the national and international defense sector
Demonstrable experience in collaborating with relevant international stakeholders in the defense sector, as well as a robust network in strategic markets
Very good understanding of the structures, decision-making processes, and regulatory frameworks in the field of national or multinational procurement
Business-level proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other foreign languages is desirable
Confidence in ongoing communication with cross-industry, national, and international stakeholders
Strong strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills
High willingness to travel both nationally and internationally
